The Purpose of this Site

This site is a personal website for David Hankins & his Family. In 2001 I joined the Navy and moved away from my friends and family. The Navy moved me around a lot, and I ended up further away from my family then I ever could have imagined. As the web grew, I was able to easily share what was happening with my life to my family. In 2004, I started my family when I married my beautiful wife Elizabeth. We now share our family happenings from a distance with our parents, siblings, and friends.

Information Technology

My main expertise comes in the form of Computer Technology. I currently work as a Network Administrator at a Community Bank and LOVE my job. While I am learning more every day about banking regulations, I still answer a lot of questions and assist others with computer repairs. It became so much “extra” work that I created a business with a friend called Mytown Technologies, LLC. My friend specializes in selling websites and works to contract design work. I do the back-end hosting and Computer Repair.
